Adolfo Chavez

Adolfo Dominguez Chavez, 72, of Wickett, passed away Monday, November 16, 2015 at his residence. He was born October 12, 1943 in Alpine to Ramon and Sarah (Dominguez) Chavez.

He retired from Halliburton where he worked as a mechanic. We love him and will miss him very much.

He is preceded in death by his son, Adolfo Chavez, Jr.; parents, Ramon and Sarah Chavez; and sister, Erminia Chavez Gomez.

Adolfo is survived by his sons, Richard Chavez of Arlington, Ramon Chavez and wife Nancy of Wickett, and Adam Chavez and wife Marilyn of Monahans; brothers, Alfredo Chavez and wife Rosie and Robert Chavez and wife Beatrice, all of Monahans; sister, Elvira Almanza and husband Adolfo of Monahans; 10 grandchildren; and 3 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be Wednesday, November 18, 2015 from 1 - 8 PM and Thursday, November 19, 2015 from 9 AM - 8 PM at Harkey Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Friday, November 20, 2015 at 2 PM at Harkey Funeral Home. As Adolfo wished, his family will bury his cremated remains at a later date.
