Baine Bean Sr.

Baine Allen Bean, Sr., 78, longtime resident of Monahans, passed away Sunday, March 8, 2015 at Crane Memorial Hospital. He was born April 9, 1936 in Sweetwater to Arther Lee and Annie Nora Bean.

He is preceded in death by his wife of 48 years, Dixie Bernice Bean; parents, Arther and Annie Bean; and brothers, Frank Lee Bean, Owen Ray Bean, and Dorman Eugene Bean.

Baine is survived by his sons, Baine Allen Bean, Jr. and wife Debra, and Roy Dale Bean and wife DeeAnn of Monahans; daughter, Gwen Bean Pool and husband Gary of Richards; sisters, Nora Annie Tinney and Betty Louise Pittman of Abilene; 7 grandchildren; and 9 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held Monday, March 9, 2015 from 1 - 8 PM and Tuesday, March 10, 2015 from 9 AM - 8 PM at Harkey Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Wednesday, March 11, 2015 at 2 PM at Christian Fellowship with Pastor Jimmy Bryant officiating. Burial will follow at Monahans Memorial Cemetery.
