Carol Campbell, 76, of Monahans, passed away on June 12, 2018 in Midland, TX.
Visitation will be 4-6 pm, June 15, 2018 at Harkey Funeral Home in Monahans, TX. Funeral services will be held at 2 pm Saturday June 16, 2018 at 3rd and Dwight Church of Christ with Sean Prather, officiating. Burial will follow at Monahans Memorial Cemetery.
Carol was born in Gene Autry, OK to Mary and Harold Beckham on October 27, 1941. She married Don Campbell on December 26, 1962 in Monahans, TX. She graduated from Monahans High School in 1960. She worked as a soda jerk at Casey's Drive Inn and at Super Burger for a number of years. She traveled to all but six states and to two countries in her RV (she was afraid to fly). She was a devoted Lobo and Lady Lobo fan and followed football, volleyball, cheerleading, and band. She devoted her entire life to her husband, kids, and grandkids.
Carol is preceded in death by her parents Mary and Harold Beckham, husband Don Campbell, and sister Patricia Beckham.
She is survived by her son Mike Campbell and wife Angela Campbell, daughter Shelly Phillips and her husband Dave Phillips, her sister Lou Perry, her brother Tommy Beckham and wife Colleen Beckham, brother Larry Beckham and wife Janet Beckham, brother Ricky Beckham, granddaughter Angela Allridge and husband Stan Allridge, granddaughter Lindsay Jones and husband Ryan Jones, grandson Micah Campbell, great grandsons Raxton Jones, Collin Allridge and Dean Campbell, and many nieces, nephews, cousins and honorary family members.
