Carolyn June Starustka, 77, a loving mother, daughter, and friend passed away peacefully on November 24, 2024, just three days shy of her 78th birthday. Born in Sikeston, Missouri, to Leonard Eugene Berry and Margret Louise Carter, Carolyn graced this world with her presence on November 27, 1946.
With a passion for all things Elvis Presley, Carolyn's vibrant spirit shone through her love for all things purple, a loyal patron of QVC, and a collector of James Avery jewelry, adorning herself with every piece she owned. Her home was always aglow with the gentle flicker of flameless candles, casting a warm light on her cherished treasures and memories. Above all, Carolyn's love for her children and family knew no bounds, radiating warmth and devotion in every embrace and tender moment shared.
Carolyn is preceded in death by husband, Charles Starustka; and her parents, Lightening and Margret Berry.
She leaves behind her son, Sonny Starustka; daughters, Kim Monroe, and Sadie Starustka, extended family and friends.
A Funeral Service at Southside Baptist Church will be held on Tuesday, November 26, 2024, at 1:00 PM, officiated by Pastor Joshua Rieff, where her life will be celebrated and her legacy cherished. Burial to follow at Monahans Memorial Cemetery.
Arrangements are entrusted to Harkey Funeral Home. If you would like to send your condolences to the family, you may do so by signing her guestbook at www.harkeyfunerals.com.
