Celestino Olivas

Celestino Olivas passed away at his home on Saturday November 20, 2021, at the age of 81. Celestino was born on April 6, 1940, in Mulato, Chihuahua to Antonio and Fransica Olivas. In 1966 he married the love of his life Maria Olivas. They lived an inseparable life for 54 years.

Celestino enjoyed being outdoors. He was a strong, proud great man. Celestino is extremely loved and will be missed dearly.

He is survived by his loving wife; Maria Olivas, children; Martin Olivas, Manuel Olivas, Marta Olivas, Fredrico Olivas, Celsa Tucker, Rigo Olivas, Donna Olivas, Sammy Olivas, Maria Olivas, 22 grandchildren, and 15 great grandchildren.

Celestino is preceded in death by his parents; Antonio Rios Olivas and Fransica Gonzales Olivas, 17 brothers and sisters, and two grandchildren; Javier Julius Olivas, and Zakariah Cabrera.

Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 23, 2021, at Harkey Funeral Home. Rosary will be held at 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 23, 2021, at St. John Evangelist Catholic Church in Monahans, Texas. Funeral Mass will be held at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 24, 2021, at St. John Evangelist Catholic Church in Monahans, Texas will Father Joe officiating, burial will follow at Tamarisk Cemetery in Grandfalls, Texas.
