Cruz Rios

Cruz Olvias Rios, 76, known as Guero of Monahans, TX passed away on April 23rd 2023 in Odessa Tx.

Family and Friends will gather to celebrate his life at Harkey Funeral Home in Monahans Texas with Viewing held at 9:00 am on Tuesday April 25th,2023 with his Rosary starting at 7:00 p.m. that evening. A mass will be held at 10:00 AM at St. John the Apostle and Evangelist Catholic Church on Wednesday April 26th 2023 with burial to follow at Monahans Memorial Cemetery.

Guero was born December 31th ,1946 in Paloma Numero Uno, Mexico.

He was a very loving man. He enjoyed sitting outside and listening to music. He also liked taking walks around his neighborhood  every evening before sunset. He loved watching baseball. His favorite team was the Texas Rangers. He was a wonderful brother, and uncle. He will be dearly missed.

Guero is preceded in death by his mother, Maria Olivas, Father, Marcos Rios, and brother, Ezequiel Rios.

He is survived by his sister Graciela Molinar and husband Rojelio Molinar of Odessa,TX. Sister, Eva Hernandez and husband Antonio Hernandez of Andrews,TX. Brother, Manuel Rios of Andrews,TX and half sister, Yolanda Olivas of Andrews,TX.
