Domingo Fuentes

Domingo E. Fuentes, 86, of Monahans, Texas, passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by family, on October 19th, 2022.

Domingo was born in Ruidosa, TX to Braulio and Remedios Estorga Fuentes on May 10th, 1936.

Everyone that knew Domingo knew just how much of a “Jokester” he was; making people laugh was a must for him.  Domingo loved baseball, he loved watching the Atlanta Braves play and he absolutely loved coaching.  He also enjoyed watching the Dallas Cowboys.  Domingo was an outdoors kind of man; hunting and fishing were some of his favorite hobbies. He was also devoted to singing in the choir at church. But most of all, Domingo was best known for the love he had for his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  We will miss him immensely.

Domingo is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Josefa Navarrette Fuentes; son, Gabriel Fuentes; and granddaughter, Jennifer Nichole Garcia.

Domingo is survived by his son, Jenaro Fuentes and Family; daughter, Eva Santiago and Family; daughter, Elpidia Contreras and Family; daughter, Carmen Fuentes and Family; son, Domingo Fuentes Jr. and Family; son, Andres Fuentes and Family; son, Juan Fuentes and Family; 23 grandchildren, and 15 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Andres Fuentes, Andres Fuentes Jr., Tristan Fuentes, Bo Fuentes, Brock Fuentes, John F. Garcia, Jordan Munoz, and Alfred Fuentes.

Viewing will be on October 21,2022 from 12 pm-5pm. Rosary will be held at 6pm.

Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday,October 22,2022 at 10 am. Burial will follow at Monahans Memorial Cemetery .
