Dorothea Stapp

Dorthea Lee Stapp, 89, formerly of Monahans, passed away Sunday, January 18, 2015 in Brownwood. She was born June 18, 1925 in Fort Stockton to Theodore Charlie and Alice Lee Lewis.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Arvil F. Stapp.

Dorthea is survived by her sons, Bill Hill and wife Shirley of Lake Brownwood, Frank Stapp and wife Connie of Midland, and Joe Stapp and wife Madelaine of San Angelo; daughters, Faye Parks and husband Charlie of Ft. Stockton, Dorothy McPheeters and husband Terry of Sugarland, Mary Tucker and husband Billy of Odessa, and Becky Baldwin and husband Kyle of Arlington; brother T. C. Lewis; sister, Annie Lucille Gillham; 16 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, January 21, 2015 at 2 PM at Harkey Funeral Home with Dr. Charles Inman officiating. Burial will follow at Monahans Memorial Cemetery.
