Duane Sanders

Duane Sanders passed away in Albuquerque, New Mexico on August 13, 2021.

Duane Sanders was born on July 11, 1958 in Kansas City, MO. and lived the majority of his life in Texas. He was a graduate from Permian High School ( Go MOJO ). He loved people, music, & cooking ( especially Bar-B-Que ). He was also an avid wrestling fan. He was a proud member of the Monahans Lions Club. His passion was radio & he did a Sunday morning Gospel radio show in Monahans. He was a faithful volunteer in the engineering, production, praise and worship for all of his churches.

He was preceded in death by his father, Lloyd Sanders and son Scott Sanders.

He is survived by his wife, Valarie Sanders of Monahans, mother, Ruby Sanders of Odessa, Christi - Coley, Logan & Colby Powell, Sister - Denise Smith of Odessa - Jennifer and Bradlee Smith, Courtney & Susan - Zackary, Kaiden, Caitlyn & Carter Cowart, Kayla - Alexia & Bryson Davidson, Darren May of Oregon, Greg & Micah - Anthony (Kayla), Garrett Ford, Trey & Daphne Ford - Hillary (Bryan) Blare - Barrett & Redmond, Cameron (Lexi) Ford - Greyson & Everly, Merrick Ford
