Edwin Brown

Edwin Eugene Brown, Sr., 83, of Monahans, passed away Monday, November 30, 2015 at his residence. He was born September 11, 1932 in Asheboro, North Carolina to Walter and Nordie (Davis) Brown.

He worked as an Avionic Engineer for the civil service. Edwin proudly served as an Aircraft Mechanic in the US Air Force from 1951-1955. He married Angeline Jurcak on June 10, 1955 in Harlingen, TX.

Edwin is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Angeline Brown of Monahans; son, Gene Brown and wife Carla of Monahans; daughter, Pam Brown Roney of Edmond, OK; brother, Virgel Lee Brown; and 4 grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held Sunday, December 27, 2015 at First Christian Church at 3 PM with Rev. Jeppie Wilson officiating.
