Eleuteria Anaya

Eleuteria V. Anaya, age 89 of Monahans, Texas, passed away on 2/25/23 in Monahan’s, Texas.

Eleuteria was born on March 3, 1933 in Ojinaga Chihuahua, Mexico.

Eleuteria passion was music & dancing. All of her family enjoyed eating her galletitas. She loved coloring and drawing pictures. She was all of the following that made her unique: loving, caring, funny, loud, could be mean and ready to fight at any time. Her favorite game that we all enjoyed and had the privilege to play with her was loteria. Even thou 95% of the time she cheated and we knew it all along but went along with it just to see that beautiful smile and joy of her winning her favorite(money-except pennies). We all could go on and on with stones of 89 years’ worth, but overall we were blessed to have such a wonderful grandmother that have touched each and every one of us in her own special way. There was not one person she met that she didn’t love and they loved her in return. She always loved praying her rosary & praying and sending all the love and blessings to everyone.

Eleuteria is preceded in death by her husband, Jose Anaya; her children, Manuel Anaya, Anthonia Anaya, Olga Anaya, Marcelo Anaya, Jose Anaya, and Ramon Anaya; her parents, Maria Villalobos & Domingo Hernandez; siblings, Filomeno Villalobos, Eliza Villalobos, Roberto Villalobos, Julian Villalobos, Socorro Hernandez, Prajedes Vallez, and Manuel Vallez.

Eleuteria is survived by her children, Emma Porras and husband, Raul, Alicia Bustamante and husband, Martin; her brother, Leonardo Hernandez; 18 grandchildren, 48 great grandchildren, and 21 great great grandchildren.

Pallbearers are as follows: Amado Bustamante, Rolando Anaya, Ivan Rios, Raul Segura, Lionel Segura, Teddy Figueroa, Rigo Anaya, Martin Bustamante, Eddie Bustamante, and Martin Porras.
