Elidia Cano Oyerbides, 85, of Monahans, Texas went to meet her maker January 23, 2022. She was born in Alpine, Texas. Elidia was a hairdresser for years, an accomplished cosmetologist. A member of Grace Fellowship, she attended devotedly.
“Momo” was a loving, dedicated wife for 69 years. She was the most generous woman one could meet. Her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren were the world to her. The saying “she would give you the shirt off her back” would not do her justice.
Lydia was preceded in death by both her parents, several brothers and sisters, and recently her grandson, Joshua Bingham.
She is survived by her husband, Mike E. Oyerbides, two brothers Eleno Cano of Monahans, Texas and David Silvas of San Angelo, Texas, two sons Gilbert Oyerbides and wife Paula, Adam Joe and wife Jenesse, three daughters, Grace Aguirre, Donna Oyerbides, Carol Nunez and husband David. She also had thirteen grandchildren, twenty-four great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers for the service will be David Lee Nunez, Ezekiel Nunez, Robert Aguirre, Seth Oyerbides, AyeJay Oyerbides, Michael Oyerbrides, Landin Alvarado and D’Angelo Walsh
In lieu of flowers please make donations in remembrance of her grandson Joshua Clint Bingham, to a charity of your choice that supports and/or researches depression and mental illness in his name.
