Fidencio Balderaz

Fidencio Longoria Balderaz, 90, passed away October 23, 2018 in Monahans, Texas. Fidencio was born on July 12, 1928 to Domingo Balderaz and wife Delfina in Comfort, Texas. Fidencio married the love of his life Susana Valle Balderaz on November 6, 1949 in Lamesa, Texas.

Fidencio was an avid member of St. John Catholic Church as well as the Catholic Men's Organization. He worked as a laborer and retired from Ward County Precinct 4. Fidencio was strongly involved with the 4-H Chapter in Ward County. He always volunteered his time weather is was helping shear lambs or driving livestock to Dallas for the 4-H livestock shows.

Fidencio is preceded in death by his parents; Domingo and Delfina Balderaz, two daughters; Rosie Balderaz, Susan Anita Hembree, five bothers; Juan Balderaz, Jesus Balderaz, Vicente Balderaz, Jesus Bladeraz, Jose Angel Balderaz, and two sisters; Gracie Hernandez, and Eva Rivera.

He is survived by his loving wife of 68 years; Susana V. Balderaz, one son; Fidencio V. Balderaz and wife Vori of Monahans, Texas, two daughters; Jessie B. Aguilar of Monahans, Texas, Mary Hernandez and husband Frank of Midland, Texas, eight grandchildren; Benny Aguilar and wife Angie, Sonya Whited, Anthony Aguilar and wife Jayme, Joey Aguilar and wife Lisa, Mandi Trader and husband Ryan, Keith Balderaz and wife Lindsey, Gaby Hernandez, Wyatt Hernandez, 14 great grandchildren Alexis Aguilar, Britney Aguilar, Jacob Whited, Joslynn Aguilar, Nate Aguilar, Ali Aguilar, Kaydin Aguilar, JT Aguilar, Jackson Aguilar, Mason Balderaz, Rylee Trader, Kash Balderaz, Fallon Balderaz, and Mark Carpenter.

Fidencio's favorite saying was "Follow me and you'll go places".

Veiwing will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Friday, October 26, 2018, Rosary will be held at 6:30 p.m., Friday, October 26, 2018 at Harkey Funeral Home in Monahans, Texas. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, October 27, 2018 at St. John Evangelist Catholic Church in Monahans, Texas, burial will follow at Monahans Memorial Cemetery with Father Allen Alaka officiating.
