Garland Marshall

Garland O. Marshall, 81, of Monahans, passed away Sunday, May 10, 2015 at Midland Memorial Hospital. He was born January 30, 1934 in Fordyce, Arkansas to Oscar and Nora (Kaerley) Marshall.

He served in the military and later worked as a Field Tech for Chevron-Texaco where he retired after 38 years. He was an active member of the Masonic Lodge for over 50 years. He was married to his wife, Tina, for 61 years.

Garland is survived by his wife, Tina Marshall of Monahans; sons, Barry Marshall of Monahans and Gary Marshall and wife Kim of Midland; sisters, Vira Chambers of Houston and Velma Jones of Carthage, AR; 5 grandchildren, Amanda Del Fiacco and husband David of Phoeniz, AZ, Nichole Dunham and husband Chad of Mildenhall, United Kingdom, Brannon Jordan of Midland, Lanie Marshall of Midland; 2 great-grandchildren, Haylee and Corbin Dunham of Mildenhall, United Kingdom; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, May 13, 2015 from 9 AM - 2 PM at Harkey Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Wednesday at 2 PM at Harkey Funeral Home followed by burial at Monahans Memorial Cemetery. Flowers are welcome, but should friends desire, memorial contributions may be made to Shriner's Home or your favorite charity.
