Gerald Spray

Gerald W. Spray, 82, of Monahans died Tuesday, May 30, 2017 at home surrounded by his family.

Gerald was born May 31, 1934 in Whiteflat, Texas to Frank and Virgie Spray. Gerald graduated from Monahans High School in 1953. He married Mildred Ballard in Monahans, Texas July 4th, 1952 they were married 55 years until her death in September 2007. Gerald then married Karon (James) Shelton in Pecos, Texas on March 1, 2008. They then relocated back to Monahans in 2009.

Gerald is preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Frank Lee and Darrell Gene, and his first wife Mildred Spray.

Gerald is survived by his wife, Karon; son, Chris Spray and wife (Lee Ann), daughters, Debora Beauchamp and husband Davie, Cheryl Sue Woodbury and husband Andy, and Julia Thompson and husband Victor; seven grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and one sister-in-law, Thelma Headrick.
