Gloria Bustamantes

Gloria Silvas Bustamantes, 87, of Monahans, Texas passed away on May 22, 2020. She was born in Fort Davis, Texas to parents Clara and Gregorio Silvas. Gloria married her husband of 69 years Teclo Bustamantes in Fort Davis on May 14, 1951.

Gloria is preceded in death by her parents Clara and Gregorio Silvas, and son Tony S. Bustamantes.

She is survived by her husband Teclo O. Bustamantes, daughter Norma Parras, brother Eddie Silvas, sisters Delores Najar, Patsy Rodriguez, and Leonore Rodriguez. Grandchildren Brian Bustamantes and spouse Brianna Pena, Brenda Bustamantes, Randy Valenzuela, and Heidi Tobar and spouse Simon Tobar. Great grandchildren Miranda Granado, Brock Granado, Fox Bejeran, Mya Tobar, Korra Tobar, and Brandon Bustamantes.

Rosary will be held at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 27, 2020 at Harkey Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Mass will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 27, 2020 at St. John Evangelist Catholic Church, burial will follow at Monahans Memorial Cemetery. Per St. John’s, a mask is required to allow entry into the church and social distancing is to be practiced. Interment to follow at Monahans Memorial Cemetery.
