Hazel Nadeen Custer-Hendricks, 88, of Monahans, Texas passed away on June 10, 2021.
Hazel was born on April 23, 1933 in Eucha, Oklahoma to Bessie and Willie Custer. She married her husband C.W. Hendricks on December 7, 1949 in Lovington, NM. She was married for 63 years. Hazel was a devoted home maker and a member of Southside Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by her parents Bessie and Willie Custer, her loving husband C.W. Hendricks, her seven siblings and her daughter in law Judith Hendricks-Bell.
She is survived by her three children Charles W. Hendricks, Elvira D. Russel, Glenn H. Hendricks, her sister in law Norma Caldwell, and her many many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Hazel was a very bright soul and was always so lively. She loved spending time with family and working right alongside her husband all their years together. She loved fishing, singing in the choir, crocheting, and spending time with her pets.
Visitation for Hazel will be Monday June 14, 2021from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Harkey Funeral Home in Monahans, Texas. Funeral services will follow at Southside Baptist Church at 2:00 PM with burial to follow at Monahans Memorial Cemetery.
