Hortensia Sanders, 71, passed away June 4, 2018 in Odessa, Texas. She was born on November 4, 1946 in Presidio, Texas to Reymundo Salgado and Eleauteria Gomez.

Hortensia is preceded in death by her parents; Reymundo Salgado and Eleauteria Gomez, brothers; Reynaldo Salgado, Jessie Salgado, Joe Salgado, and sister; Dominga Salgado.

She is survived by her loving husband; Ernie Sanders Sr., sons; Richard Sanders and wife Haide, Mark Sanders and wife Yvette, Michael Sanders and wife Tammy, brothers; Johnny Salgado, Daniel Salgado, numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren.

Viewing will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Friday, June 8, 2018, rosary will be held at 7:00 p.m., Friday, June 8, 2018 at Harkey Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, June 9, 2018 at St. John Evangelist Catholic Church, burial will follow at Monahans Memorial Cemetery in Monahans, Texas with Father Allan Alaka officiating.
