Ima Ruth, 93, passed away in Monahans, Texas, on Tuesday, August 23rd. Ima Ruth was born in Merkel, Texas, to Oscar Clyde Shouse and Alta Ellenore Decker Shouse. She later married Charles Henderson Vinson on September 27, 1947. Ima Ruth and Charles enjoyed 57 years of marriage before his passing in 2003. They raised a loving family of 1 girl and 2 boys in the Hawley, Texas, area. Ima Ruth is survived by her daughter Mary and her husband Charles Collins of Monahans, TX, her son Chuck Vinson and his wife Vicki of Hawley, TX, and her son Larry Vinson and his wife Teelee of Grandfalls, TX. She has numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and three great grandchildren. A graveside service will be held in Hawley Cemetery in Hawley, TX on Thursday, August 25, 2022.
