J. Morphew

J. C. Morphew, 86, of Monahans, passed away Tuesday, April 14, 2015 at his residence. He was born September 13, 1928 in Comanche, TX to Ellis and Clora (Norwood) Morphew.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Ellis & Clora Morphew; brother, Dalton Morphew; and sister, Sylvia Shupp.

J. C. is survived by his sister, Idell Coker of Friendship, TX; sister-in-law, Peggy Morphew of Monahans; nieces, Laurna Coudding of Monahans, Paula Laurendine of Sante Fe, TX and Pam White of Alpine, TX; nephews, James Coker of Cedar Park, TX, Mike Shupp of Paris, TX and Tony Shupp of Detroit, TX; and many dear friends and coffee drinking buddies.

Visitation will be Friday, April 17, 2015 from 11 AM - 8 PM at Harkey Funeral Home with the family receiving friends from 4 - 6 PM. Funeral services will be Saturday, April 18, 2015 at 10 AM at Harkey Funeral Home followed by burial at Tamarisk Cemetery in Grandfalls.
