Jean Lee

Jean Solomon Lee, 88, formerly of Monahans, passed away Friday, March 27, 2015 in Conway, Arkansas. She was born October 1, 1926 in Cleveland, Oklahoma to LeRoy and Emma Blanch Cope.

Jean retired from the Monahans School System and was a member of Retired Teachers Association.

She was a member of the Monahans Church of Christ.

She is preceded in death by her husbands, William Ray (Bill) Solomon and Weldon Lee; brothers, Charles Cope, LeRoy Cope, Jr., and Don Cope; and sisters, Milly Jacobs and Eva Mae Huff.

Survivors include one son, William Ray (Bill) Solomon, Jr. of Seagoville, TX; three daughters, Penny Hall of Ennis, Montana, Janice Oursborn of Conway, Arkansas, and Sheila Cornil of Abilene, Texas; five grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren.

Viewing will be Thursday, April 2, 2015 from 10 AM - 1:30 PM at Harkey Funeral Home with the family receiving friends for visitation from 10 - 11 AM. Graveside services will follow at 2 PM at the Monahans Memorial Cemetery pavilion with Billy Reed officiating.
