Jesus Carlos

Jesus Manuel Carlos, 51, of Monahans, passed away Saturday, November 7, 2015 at Medical Center Hospital. He was born February 28, 1964 in Chihuahua, Mexico to Arnulfo and Yolanda (Tavarez) Carlos.

He worked as a truck driver and enjoyed keeping busy by working on cars, doing construction projects, or helping out at the family restaurant. He was always on the move. His favorite football team was the Dallas Cowboys. He was a dedicated person, always trying to help everyone. Jesus enjoyed spending time with family and traveling to see different places. He loved spending time with his only daughter, and princess, Selina, who had a big place in his heart.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Arnulfo and Yolanda Carlos.

Jesus is survived by his wife, Josefina R. Carlos of Monahans; son, Savier Carlos and wife Jocelyn Hernandez of Monahans; daughter, Selina Carlos of Monahans; brothers, Arnulfo Carlos, Alberto Carlos, and Mario Carlos, all of Monahans, and Raul Carlos and Ramon Carlos, both of Ojinaga, Mexico, and Carlos Carlos of Odessa; sisters, Rosario Carlos of Odessa, Yolanda Rey of Presidio, and Erica Chacon of Minneapolis, MN; and 3 grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Monday, November 9, 2015 at 2 PM at St. John's Catholic Church with Fr. John Lucido officiating. Arnulfo Carlos, Alberto Carlos, Mario Carlos, Ramon Carlos, Raul Carlos, and Savier Carlos will serve as pallbearers. There will be no burial as his wishes were to be cremated.
