Jimmy Price

Jimmy Don Price received his wings at age 56 on September 30, 2021 in Fort Worth, Texas. He was born May 3, 1965 in Borger, Texas to Martin and Beverly Price. Jimmy was an entrepreneur and business owner, but his passion lied with his family. He married his high school sweetheart, Doretta Thames in 1984. Their sons, Zach and Riley, and grandson Rance were his pride and joy.

He resided in Monahans, Texas for 43 years where he was a valued member of the community. He was an advocate with many organizations within the community, especially the local 4-H club. Jimmy loved the outdoors, whether hunting, fishing, or spending time with his bucking bulls. He was a friend to many and a stranger to none.

Jimmy was preceded in death by his father Martin Price, grandson Ralley Price and many dear friends.

Jimmy is survived by his mother Beverly (Sonny) of Monahans, Doretta Thames Price of Wallis, sons Zach Price of Monahans and Riley (Kim) Price and grandson Rance of Stephenville, sister Gwen (David) Wilson of Oklahoma and 4 nephews, as well as extended family and many dear friends including Mary Rogers, Amy Williams and Mike Marker.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 5, 2021 at the Monahans Event Center in Monahans, Texas with Dr. Mark Bristow officiating.
