On the somber day of April 26, 2024, the world bid farewell to a remarkable soul, Jo Lynn "Jo" Siebenhor. Jo Lynn was born on August 22, 1990, to Bobby and Mary Jo Sinclair in Monahans, Tx. She attended and graduated from MHS in 2008. Jo Lynn met the love of her life, Albert Siebenhor III, in 2005. The two were married on the 22nd of Aug 2008. Albert and Jo Lynn had two beautiful children, Owen Cole Siebenhor born in 2011 and Anna Bele Siebenhor born in 2013.
Jo Lynn had an amazing passion for higher education. She earned several degrees, including an Associates in Business Administration (2016), Associates In General Studies Magna Cum Laude (2021), Bachelor of Applied Arts and Sciences Magna Cum Laude (2021), Bachelor of Science Business Administration Accounting (2023). She was diligently working towards her Masters in Science Accounting while serving as an assistant professor of Business Professions at Odessa Community College.
In every corner of her community, Jo Lynn's presence radiated warmth. Jo was a friend to all; she never met a stranger. A beacon of light and kindness to all she encountered, she seamlessly held roles such as Judge and Secretary of Thortonville and tennis coach for Jr. High and High School at Transformative Leadership Academy.
A viewing will be held Friday, May 3, 2024, from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Harkey Funeral Home, family will be present from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A Celebration of Jo Lynn's life will be held Saturday, May 4, 2024, at 10:00 AM at the Ward County Event Center with Pastor Joshua Rieff of Southside Baptist Church officiating. Interment is to follow at Tamarisk Cemetery in Grandfalls, Texas.
Jo Lynn is proceeded in death by her grandparents, YL and Jane Sinclair, Bill and Pat Dupler; her in-laws, Theresa and Albert Siebenhor Jr.; and a beautiful child who was gone too soon, “Peanut”.
Cherished memories will forever live on with her husband, Albert Siebenhor III; her children, Owen and Anna; her parents, Bobby and Mary Jo Sinclair; brother, Shane Sinclair; aunt, Eugenia Dupler; brother-in-law, John Johnston and his wife, Christina; sister-in-law, Venus Jones and her husband, Casey, April Antim and her husband, Scott; brother-in-law, Eddie Siebenhor and his wife, Summer; sister in law, Tasha Pinkall; along with numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
As we mourn the loss of this beautiful soul, let us remember Jo Lynn's spirit lives on through the countless lives she touched. The Siebenhor and Sinclair families extend their heartfelt gratitude to MVFD and the City of Monahans and Thorntonville, for their unwavering support during this challenging time. In honoring Jo Lynn's memory, donations to Autism Speaks are graciously welcomed in lieu of flowers.
