Mikey’s talents as an artist allowed him to channel his inner creativity with every brushstroke, pencil line, and tattoo needle. He found solace and joy in painting, drawing, and tattooing, showcasing his immense skill and unwavering passion for his craft. However, his career path led him to the oilfield industry, further proving his commitment to provide for his loved ones. Beyond his professional achievements, Mikey had a vibrant personality that left an indelible mark on everyone he encountered. He had a heart that knew no bounds and was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. Mikey's compassion touched the lives of countless individuals, and his charitable nature knew no limits. He would readily give his last dollar if it meant making someone else's life better. He had an infectious sense of humor and delighted in bringing joy to those around him. His quick wit and playful nature made him a beloved jokester among his family and friends. He possessed the unique ability to turn any situation into an opportunity for laughter. Mikey believed that laughter was the key to happiness, and he spared no effort in bringing smiles to the faces of others. His love for music was unparalleled, encompassing all genres with equal enthusiasm. Music served as an outlet for his emotions and allowed him to find solace during both happy and difficult times. It was through melodies that he found connection, strength, and inspiration. In moments of leisure, fishing became a cherished pastime, allowing him to recharge and find harmony within himself. It may come as a surprise to many that Mikey's favorite color was brown. This unconventional choice reflected not only his unique character but also his ability to appreciate beauty in unexpected places.
Mikey was preceded in death by his father, Julian Garcia; maternal grandparents, Ricardo & Josephina Hernandez; paternal grandparents, Manuel & Rebecca Adauto; maternal great grandparents, Antonio & Edelmira Calzada.
Family held a special place in Mikey's heart. His children, Alexa Adauto, Yvette Adauto, John Adauto, Jr., Breanna Adauto, Giovanni Adauto, & Julian Adauto, were his pride and joy. He embraced fatherhood with immense love and tenderness, cherishing every moment spent with them. Mikey's bond with his family extended beyond his children to include his mother, Beatriz “Liza” Cruz; his sisters Angela and Ashley; his 3 nieces and nephew; his beautiful granddaughter, Adrianna Adauto; numerous cousins, extended family, and friends.
