Juanita Muñiz

Juanita Peña Muñiz, 92, of Monahans, Texas, passed away on Friday, March 18, 2022, in Monahans.

Juanita was born in Barstow, Texas to Bernardo Peña and Elena Evaro Peña on February 8, 1930.

Juanita was a lifelong resident of Ward County.

Juanita is preceded in death by her husband Tiburcio (Matilde) Muñiz, son Vidal Peña Muñiz, brother Matilde Peña, and daughter in law Espa Muñiz

Juanita is survived by her children Olivia and husband Mark Blain, Adolfo and wife Sandra Muñiz, Angel Muñiz, Nicolas Peña Muñiz, Beatrice and husband Bob Wiesman, Edward and wife Gina Muñiz, and Thomas and wife Lety Muñiz, siblings Luis Peña, Ernestina Peña Natividad, Emilio Peña, and Manuel Peña, 18 grandchildren along with 24 great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Alex Blain, John Garcia, Dean Chadic, Thomas J. Muñiz, John P. Sanchez, Jason M. Sanchez.
