Judy Lara

July 2, 1981 — July 23, 2021

Monahans

Judith Lara was born on July 2, 1981 in Odessa Texas. Judy died on July 23, 2021 surrounded by those who love her most. She is the daughter of Hilda Marquez and Efren Agundis.

Judy will be greatly missed by those who knew her. When we remember Judy we think of words like generous, kind, loving but one word that will best describe her is selfless. Selfless with her time, selfless with her love, selfless with her hugs. Judy showed up for everyone, everytime. Without hesitation with out question. She was always there for those she loved. Judy loved her people BIG. You could feel her love radiate from her body to yours when she was with you. She made you feel welcomed, seen, and understood. The best part of her conversation was how genuine they were.

Judy cheered loud for her kids, all of them. She beamed with pride when she spoke about her children. Alize's beauty, Adrian's natural gentleman ways, Jazzy's big heart, and all the great strides her Haley is making. Her greatest accomplishment and most beautiful legacy will be the effort and love she poured in the youth that surrounded her.
While we all grieve the loss of such a beautiful soul we are all better people to have been blessed by her presence in our lives.

Judy is preceeded by death by her brother, Efren Agundis, Jr.  Judy is survived by her husband Leo and their children, Haley, Jasmine, Alize, and Adrian.

Her mother, Hilda Marquez and her husband, Javier. her father, Efren Agundis; her Sister, Edith Sanchez and her husband Donald.  Her niece Desarae and her nephew Zachary.
