Kimberly Thompson

Kimberly Dawn Thompson was born on June 1, 1975 in Kermit, Texas. Kim was called home on January 2, 2022.

Kim loved her family, friends, sunflowers and cooking. Kim’s heart was larger than life. She was passionate for all those she loved- from her dogs, her children, grandchildren, brothers and sisters, plants, and life itself. She was kind to everyone she came in contact with. Her ability to charm and make friends was second to none. Her smile could light up a room and a laugh that can warm thousands of hearts. Kim seemed to always know the right words to say at the right time, whether it was advice or diagnosing a problem with the truck.

Kimberly would have wanted everyone to know not to take the small things for granted. Being able to walk, a shower, opening a can of soda, even just taking a deep breath.

She is preceded in death by her father Eldon Thompson and grandmother Ruby Thompson.

She was loved by her beloved Edgard Vidana, her four children Anthony Montes, Nathan Montes, Miguel Montes, and her daughter Jillian Green, her mother Donna York accompanied by Weldon York, her brother Lonny Thompson, sisters Kathy Chavez and Sherry Thompson, her eight grandchildren, Jonathan Montes, Drake Montes, Eldon Montes, Ezekiel Montes, Nolan Montes, Abrian Montes, Josiah Montes, and Harley Montes.
