Leonora Rodriguez

Leonora Rodriguez, 84, passed away on October 27, 2021, in Odessa, Texas. Leonora was born on May 24, 1937, in Fort Davis, Texas to Gregorio and Clara Silvas. She married to the love of her life Fredrico Rodriguez for 66 years after getting married in Fort Davis, Texas.

Leonora always enjoyed sewing and listening to music. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends sharing stories and smiles.

Leonora is preceded in death by her husband; Fredrico Rodriguez, parents; Gregorio and Clara Silvas, sister; Gloria Bustamantes, brothers; Pete Alvarado, Fidel Silvas, Richard Silvas, and grandson; Steven Garcia.

She is survived by her loving daughters; Nancy Ramirez and husband Jesse, Carol Garcia and husband Merardo Jr., grandchildren; Jennifer Cooper, Melissa Cruz and husband Rene, Bryan Garcia, great grandchild; Nichole Solis, brother; Eddie Silvas and wife Linda, sisters; Dolores Najar and husband Robert, and Patsy Rodriguez and husband Juan.

Pallbearers will be Eddie Silvas, Rene Cruz, Jesse Ramirez, Bryan Garcia, David Carrasco, and Rafel Martinez.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Friday, October 29, 2021, at Harkey Funeral Home. Rosary will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, October 30, 2021, at St. John Evangelist Catholic Church. Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, October 30, 2021, at St. John Evangelist Catholic Church with Father Joe Raji officiating, burial will follow at Monahans Memorial Cemetery.
