Linda Diane Cobb, 71, of Monahans Texas, was born on September 26, 1953, in Stamford, Texas to the late Horace Phillips and Pinkie Lee Thornton. Linda was called home by Our Lord and Savior on December 2, 2024.
Linda was a graduate of Monahans High School and had a wide range of talents that reflected her creative and caring nature. She found joy in cosmetology, cooking, and baking, often creating delicious desserts that will be fondly remembered by those who had the privilege to enjoy them. Linda also loved decorating homes, spending time working on her yard, and hunting for treasures at garage sales.
Her greatest joy, however, came from spending time with her family. Linda adored her grandchildren, which some of her most cherished memories were made with them, especially during the holidays at her son Fabian's home. She loved taking them to Chuck E. Cheese and shooting hoops!
A devout believer in Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, Linda found peace and joy in attending church and rejoicing in the Lord. Her faith and loving spirit were a guiding light for everyone around her.
Linda is preceded in death by her parents, Horace and Pinkie, son Charles Phillips, sister Deborah Hammond and is now reunited with them in eternal peace.
Linda is survived by her daughter, Charlotte Phillips; her son, Fabian Butler (Italy Butler); her grandchildren, Ty Carnegary, Tyniqua Phillips, Navy Butler, and Fabian Butler II; her sisters, Autrey Gray and Mary Carter; and many other extended family members and friends.
Pallbearers are as follows: Chris Adams, Zay Alford, Frank Dipasquale, Willie Willis, Brent Wallace, and Tony Dipasquale.
Honorary Pallbearers are as follows: Fabian Butler, Ty Carnegary, Fabian Butler II, Lewis Carter, and William Adams
Linda's family takes comfort in knowing she is now at peace and will forever be remembered for her loving spirit and the cherished memories she leaves behind.
