Luis Ontiveroz

Luis Tarango Ontiveroz passed away on July 10, 2020 in Odessa, Texas.  Luis was Born in Candelaria, Texas to Nicandro Ontiveroz and Luciana Tarango on June 21, 1940. He was a wonderful husband and father. He had great love for animals and would take them in no matter the situation. In his younger years he loved to ride horses and was a ranch hand in Candelaria, Texas.  He also had a knack for growing things. Luis was a kind, loving, soul. You would always find him decked out with his fancy cowboy boots, cowboy hat, and his frilly leather jacket no matter the West Texas heat. Luis is preceded in death by his wife Esther Ontiveroz, his sister Eva Sotelo and Elfida Olivas, and brothers Manuel Ontiveroz and Adel Ontiveroz. Luis is survived by his children Lionel, Tanya, and Bonita, his brothers Eduvijes and Adan, his sisters Ramona and Lidia and his grandchildren Sophie, Dayami, Dalani, Bryce, Calleigh, and Aelish.
