Luz Ibarra

Luz Elena Ibarra, 74 years old, passed away on Friday January 28th, 2022, in Monahans Texas. She was born in Melchor Muzquiz, Coah. On July 2, 1947, to Jose Ibarra Moreno and Socorro Elia Guajardo Ibarra, and resided in Monahans, Texas.  Luz was a wonderful Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, and Sister. The love she shared with us was one of a kind. She was always there for everyone no matter what. She would bend her back and jump for everyone, she was very appreciated and loved. We will miss her dearly, in our hearts she will be held forever!

She was survived by her daughter Griselda Martinez from Monahans, Texas. Her sisters and brother Dora Ibarra, Maricela Dominguez, and Rojelio Guajardo. Her five grandchildren, Fidel Carrasco, Crystal Carrasco, Jason Martinez, Jesse Gonzalez, and Arial Gonzalez. Her great grandchildren Dj Francisco, Jayden Carrasco, Zaylen Armendariz, Santiago Gonzalez, Javier Villalobos, Jocob Armendariz, and Tristan Brandenburg.

Her visitation is held at Harkey Funeral home on February 2,2022 from nine to five. Her rosary will be at St. John Evangelist Catholic church at seven p.m. The mass will be held on February 3,2022 at St. John Evangelist Catholic Church with burial to follow at Monahans Memorial Cemetery. Father Joe will be officiating the mass.
