Manuel Ortega

Manuel Ortega, 69, of Monahans, Texas passed away on December 1, 2020 in Odessa, Texas. Manuel was born in Colorado City to Felis Ortega.

Manuel is preceded in death by mother Felis Ortega, son Sammy Ortega, and grandsons Raul Ortega and Dominque Ortega.

Manuel is survived by children Sylvia Lucero, Steven Ortega, Tanya Ortega, Saul Ortega, and Sanya Ortega; Brothers Tony Martinez and wife Margie, Frank Ontiveros and Mark Ontiveros, sisters Ramona Martinez, Maria Carrasco, Linda Wafer and husband Lorenzo and Endora Ontiveros; 10 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, and various nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers for the service will be Saul Ortega, Rick Anderson, Jesus Gonzales, Alec Gonzales, Miguel Gonzales, Adrian Santiago, and Oscar Espino.

Visitation will be Friday December 4, 2020 from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Harkey Funeral Home.

Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday December 7, 2020 at St. John’s Evangelist Catholic Church with father Allan Olouch officiating. Burial will follow at Monahans Memorial Cemetery.
