Marcos Millan

Marcos Garcia Millan went to be with his Lord and Savior on December 6, 2020. He was born on August 31, 1969 in Monahans to Abelardo Millan and Yolanda Selvera.

He was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, graduated from MHS in 1988 and was employed in the oilfield. He was a devoted fan of the Oklahoma Sooners. An avid hunter, he had a passion for the outdoors and loved to be anywhere his Polaris would take him. He took pride in his yard and always made sure Julia’s plants were taken care of. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather and was always willing and ready to help family and friends. He enjoyed grilling and was always trying to perfect it.

Marcos is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Domingo and Manuela Garcia and his paternal grandmother Maria Vigil.

He is survived by his loving wife of 30 years Julia Galindo, his two daughters Megan Elaine Galindo of Galveston and Adriana Martinez and her husband Lee, grandson Baker Cruz Martinez of Monahans, his mother Yolanda and step-father Kino Selvera, his father Abelardo Millan, two brothers Carlos Millan of Odessa and Chris Millan of Fredericksburg, a sister Lori Collinsworth and her husband Mark of Bluff Dale, three nieces and two nephews.
