Margarita Eddylene Nixon, 75, of Frisco, Texas, passed away on August 18, 2021, in Plano, Texas.
Margarita was born in Uvalde, Texas to parents Edward and Margarita Moron on December 9, 1945.
She was raised in Uvalde, Texas where she attended school at Sacred Heart Catholic school and Uvalde High School where she graduated in 1963. She attended Sul Ross State University in Alpine, Texas and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in science and a master’s degree in Education. Margarita taught in Pearsall, Texas, Eagle Pass, Texas and in Monahans, Texas. She was a parishioner at St. John’s Evangelist Catholic Church in Monahans, Texas and later on at St. Francis Catholic Church in Frisco, Texas.
Margarita is proceeded in death by her husband Steven Nixon, along with parents Edward and Margarita Moron, and sister Roseanne Suarez.
Margarita is survived by her sons Michael Nixon and wife Lisa, Robert Nixon and wife Jamie, Granddaughters Marisa, Madison, and Rebecca along with Grandson Henry, sisters, Valerie Ponder and husband David, Rachel Montez and husband Joe, brothers in law, Jesus Suarez, Michael R. Nixon and numerous nieces and nephews.
Rosary will be held at St. John’s Evangelist Catholic Church in Monahans, Texas on Monday, August 23, 2021 at 1:00pm. Funeral Mass will be held Monday, August 23, 2021, at 2:00pm at St. John’s Evangelist Catholic Church. Burial to follow at Monahans Memorial Cemetery in Monahans, Texas.
