Maria Rodriguez

Maria Ermelinda Rodriguez, 66, of Grandfalls, Texas, passed away on December 21, 2022, in Odessa, Texas.

Visitation will be held 10:00 AM – 8:00 PM, Monday, December 26, 2022, with a rosary at 7:00 PM at Harkey Funeral Home. Mass will be held  10:00 AM Tuesday, December 27, 2022, at St. John’s Catholic Church in Monahans, Texas.  Burial will follow at Tamarisk Cemetery in Grandfalls, Texas.

Maria was born in Monahans, Texas to Jose and Margarita Santiago on November 30, 1956. Maria attended school in Grandfalls and Monahans where she graduated in 1977 from Monahans High School.  Maria married Luciano Rodriguez in 1980 and worked at Howards, BF Goodrich Testing Track, and Trax. Maria loved knitting, the color red, and baking.  She also loved dogs, being on her phone, but most of all spending time with her family.  She will be missed greatly.

Maria is preceded in death by her husband, Luciano Rodriguez; her parents, Jose and Margarita Santiago; her nephew, Jimmy Joe Santiago.

Maria is survived by her sisters, Angie Porras and Cindy Tavarez; her brother, Jose Santiago Jr.; numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers are as follows:  Jose Santiago, Daniel Santiago, Adrian Santiago, Vincent Santiago, Lorenzo Porras, Kevin Porras, Christopher Porras, Jay Rey, and Seth Vargas.
