Mark Ochoa

Mark David Ochoa, 49, of Monahans, passed away Thursday, September 10, 2015 in Kermit. He was born December 3, 1965 in Monahans to Armando Villareal and Rebecca (Flores) Ochoa.

He married Catalina Sanchez on August 30, 1986 in Monahans.

He worked as a crew supervisor for Oncor. He enjoyed fishing and hunting and was a fan of the Dallas Cowboys. He loved spending time with his family and telling stories. He was the family jokester. Mark had a strong belief in God and great moral character. He instilled his work ethic in his kids to "give it your all in everything you do."

Mark is survived by his wife, Catalina Ochoa of Monahans; son, Justin Ochoa of Lubbock; daughters, Alexia Ochoa Hardin and husband Justin of Waxahachie, Hillary Ochoa of Santa Monica, CA, and Victoria Ochoa of Monahans; parents, Armando Ochoa and wife Aida and Rebecca Acosta and husband Tony, all of Monahans; brothers, Orlando Ochoa and wife Mari, Carlos Ochoa, and Daniel Ochoa and wife Linda; sisters, Laura Haynes and husband Ronnie, Gina Ochoa, and Karina Ochoa; and 1 grandchild, Alexander Hardin.

The Rosary will be recited Monday, September 14, 2015 at 7 PM at St. John Catholic Church. A memorial service will be held Tuesday, September 15, 2015 at 2 PM at St. John Catholic Church with Fr. Mark Woodruff officiating.
