Matthew Blair

Matthew Philip Blair, 37, passed away on January 20, 2018 in Odessa, Texas. He was born on April 4, 1980 in Lubbock, Texas to Raymond Blair and wife Suzi.

Matthew moved to Monahans, Texas with his family when he was 11 years old, where he was raised, and graduated from Monahans High School in 1999. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle everywhere and going on adventures. Matthew was an excellent Chef and specialized in Culinary Arts. He especially loved spending time with his family and friends.

Matthew is preceded in death by his grandfather; Bill Blair, grandmother; Grace Balzer, father; Raymond Blair, and mother; Suzi Blair.

He is survived by his son; Sean Allen of Monahans, Texas, brothers; Patrick Blair and wife Heather of Kermit, Texas, Jay Lee of Gardendale, Texas, uncle; Dennis Blair of Edmond, Oklahoma, aunt; Denise Blair of Arizona, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 24, 2018, Family Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 24, 2018 at Harkey Funeral Home Chapel in Monahans, Texas. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, January 25, 2018 at Harkey Funeral Home Chapel with Danny "Ductape" Morris officiating.
