Maxine Williams

It is with great sadness the family of Maxine E. Williams, 89, announce her passing.  Maxine was received into the hands of God June 9, 2022, at her home in Monahans, TX.

Maxine was born to Mack O. and Ada Keister in Goldfield, Iowa on January 19, 1933.  In Waterloo, Iowa she met and married the love of her life, David M. Williams.   Together they spent 20 years in the United States Air Force and lived and travelled all over the world.  Maxine was a lifelong homemaker and mother to her four children and multiple grandchildren.  For many years she was a volunteer, most notably for US Air Force Family Services, Del Sol Hospital and All Saints Episcopal Church in El Paso, TX.

She was a kind, loving and caring person who will be greatly missed by all.  Maxine’s superpower was she made every family member feel as though they were her favorite.

Maxine was preceded in death by her husband David and her daughter Patricia Reed.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her son Mike Williams and wife Cindy of El Paso, TX; daughter Christie Bassett and husband Victor of Monahans, TX; daughter Susan Zimmerman and husband Shawn of Aurora, CO; Son-in-Law William (Bill) Reed of El Paso, TX; twelve grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren and one great-great grandson.

Private services will be held.
