Michael Burdick

Michael Dale Burdick, 61, of Monahans, passed away Thursday, March 26, 2015 at Monahans Managed Care Center. He was born May 6, 1953 in Lubbock to B. F. and Billie Jean (Hyer) Burdick.

He married Judy Gail Price, originally of Crane, in Midland on May 16, 1978. He worked as a drilling superintendent in the oilfield during the early 80's, moving on to become an 18 wheeler truck driver, and finally working in maintenance.

He is preceded in death by his parents, B. F. and Billie Burdick; brother, Billy Burdick; nephew, Steve McAdams; and nieces Jeannie Lee Byrd, Barbara Montgomery, and Connie Lee Hice.

Michael Dale is survived by his wife, Judy Gail Burdick of Monahans; sons, Matthew Burdick of Wichita Falls, Justin Burdick of Monahans, and Donnie Burdick of Edmond, OK; daughter, Christie Burdick of Edmond, OK; brother, Bud McAdams and wife Larese "Joy" of Edmond, OK; sister, Connie Gott and husband Gene of Spiro, OK; and 10 grandchildren.

Services will be held privately by the family.
