Michael Lamothe

Michael Raymond Lamothe of Monahans, Texas went to be with Jesus his Savior on March 10, 2024, at the age of 75.  Mike was survived by his wife Georgia, his daughter DeShay and her husband Craig Wootton, his granddaughter Tabatha Shugart, his nephews David and Matthew Edgerton. He was preceded in death by his grandson Jacob Michael Baxley his parents, Bill and Juanita, and his sister Belinda Edgerton. Mike achieved the rank of Eagle Scout in the Buffalo Trail Council. He graduated from Sul Ross University in Alpine, Texas earning a bachelor’s degree in chemistry. Mike and Georgia established Monachem Inc. in 1980 and operated it for 44 years. He was fisherman and hunter, and a lifetime member of the NRA. Viewing will be held Wednesday, March 13, 2024, from 10:00am to 8:00pm at Harkey Funeral Home in Monahans, Texas. The funeral service to honor his memory will be held on Thursday, March 14, 2024, at 10:00 AM at Monahans Community Church in Monahans, Texas. Burial to follow at Monahans Memorial Cemetery in Monahans, Texas.
