Monica Analla (Anaya)

Monica Analla (Anaya), 91, of Monahans, was called home on Monday May 3. 2021 at her home in Monahans, Texas.

Monica Analla was born in Loraine, Texas to Miguel and Simona Reyes on May 4, 1929.

Monica was married and preceded by death to Jose R. Analla (Anaya) , and was a long-time resident of Monahans for over 70 years. Monica was an amazing loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who enjoyed cooking, gardening, thrift store shopping and master of tamales.

Monica is preceded in death by her husband of 60 years Jose R. Analla (Anaya), sisters Juanita Lopez, Cruz Reyes and Clara Ponce, brothers Mike Reyes, Frank Reyes, Antonio Reyes and Felipe Reyes.

She is survived by her son Emilio Anaya of Odessa, her daughters Lola Mendoza and Adelita Ornelas of Monahans and son Joe Anaya of Flower Mound, brothers Placido Reyes and Vidal Reyes of Monahans and 13 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren and 30 great-great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Anthony Anaya, Keli Anaya, Logan Anaya, Christopher Mendoza, Richard Ornelas and Darrel Roy.
