Morgan Dale McClure, 71, passed away on June 20, 2020 in Monahans, Texas. Morgan was born on August 2, 1948 in Gainesville, Texas to Morgan David and Cleo G. McClure.
Morgan was raised in Odessa, Texas and graduated from Permian High School in 1966. After graduation he went to work at Meithers Machine Shop, where he soon became a welder. Morgan was an excellent welder and loved what he did. Enjoying each day pursing his passion as a welder until he retired. Morgan also enjoyed fishing and riding his motorcycle. Most of all he loved the Lord and his family. Morgan would spend each day helping when and where he could. Under his rough exterior was a kind and wonderful man with a huge heart.
Morgan is preceded in death by his parents; Morgan D. McClure Sr. and Cleo G. McClure, sister; Connie S. Barnett, and brother; Daniel I. McClure.
He is survived by his loving daughters; Charlotte Allen and husband Joe, Jeanna McClure, son; Morgan D. McClure III (Mac), granddaughters; Cheyenne Allen, Hanna McClure, Emma McClure, Sophie Wigley, grandson; Nathan Allen, sisters; Cleta Enloe and husband Rick, and Alizaha Gibson and Husband Bobby.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, June 23, 2020 at Harkey Funeral Home Chapel with David Cobb officiating.
Pallbearers will be Rick Enloe, Bobby Gibson, Bubba Barnett, John Haas, Tony Calvo, Scotty McClure.
