Omero Hernandez

Omero Gregorio Hernandez II, 26, passed away on July 7, 2018 in Wickett, Texas. Omero was born on October 25, 1991 in Odessa, Texas to Omero Hernandez and Rufina Martinez Hernandez.

Omero was an animal lover and had a playful personality. He loved to joke with family and friends. Omero loved playing football in high school and had a huge heart. He loved kids and was a "brother" to all. Omero was an avid artist and writer. He always enjoyed time spent with friends and family just having fun.

Omero is preceded in death by one grandfather, and two grandmothers.

He is survived by his mothers; Rufina Martinez Hernandez, and Connie Hernandez, fathers; Omero Hernandez and Orlando Hernandez, grandfather; Julian Hernandez, three brothers; Bronson Montoya, Armando Montoya, Daniel Hernandez and wife Karina, four sisters; Tonya Jimenez and husband Roger, Sunshine Rangel and husband George, Rebecca Porras and husband Albaro, Victoria Hernandez and partner Melinda Diaz, seven nephews, five nieces, and multiple cousins.

Pallbearers will be George Rangel, Kevin Prough, Miles Calvin, Sean Allen, Jason Boss, and Ryan Silhan. Honorary Pallbearers Carlos Cortez, Matt Thompson, Little Ryan.

The family would like to say thanks to everyone who has expressed sympathies and supported us in this turbulent time in our lives. Thank you for the out pour of prayers.

Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 18, 2018, and Thursday, July 19, 2018 at Southside Baptist Church in Monahans, Texas. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, July 20, 2018 at Crossroads Fellowship Church in Monahans, Texas with Issac Denson officiating.
