Pamela Rieves

Pamela Jane Rieves, 63, passed away on September 8, 2017 in Monahans, Texas. She was born on October 4, 1953 in De Smet, South Dakota to Melvin Henry Wehnes and Donna Mae Cassidy. Pam was married to the love of her life Jim Rieves.

Pam's family moved to Rapid City, South Dakota, living there till the age of 9, then the family moved to Idaho Falls, Idaho. In 1973, she graduated from Idaho Falls High School, shortly after she met Jim. They got married on March 13, 1973 in Dayton, Texas in Jim's hometown. On September 11, 1974 Pam and Jim welcomed their only child Lester Slade Rieves in Pascagoula, Mississippi. The Rieves lived in Southern California for 20 years prior to moving to Monahans in 2013.

Pam is survived by her loving husband; Jim Rieves of Monahans, Texas, son; Lester Rieves of Monahans, Texas, mother; Donna Hopperdietzel of Idaho Falls, Idaho, sister; Jackie Oavick of Fruita, Colorado.

Cremation Services have been entrusted to Harkey Funeral Home in Monahans, Texas. Memorial Service will be scheduled at a later date.
