Pascual Vasquez

Pascual "Poncho" Vasquez, 97, passed away on September 5, 2017 in Monahans, Texas. He was born on May 17, 1920 in Buena Vista, Texas to Justo Vasquez and Romana Uranga. Pascual married the love of his life Tomasa Cadena Vasquez on March 8, 1943 in Grandfalls, Texas. Pascual loved spending his time with his family and friends. He also loved to cook, and fish. Pascual always enjoyed traveling to see his grandchildren. He was a very active church member with St. Gertrude Catholic Church in Grandfalls, Texas. Pascual is preceded in death by his loving wife; Tomasa, daughters; Silvia Luna, Maria De Los Angeles Vasquez, son; Pascual Vasquez, Jr, brothers; Simon Vasquez, Manuel Vasquez, Luciano Vasquez, Ines Vasquez, and sister; Francisca Lara. He is survived by his children; Susie and Fred Holguin of Forsan, Texas, Roberto and Rosa Vasquez of Grandfalls, Texas, Linda Abila of Midland, Texas, Ruben Vasquez of Odessa, Texas, Roy and Barbara Vasquez of Grandfalls, Texas, Maria Vasquez Rodriguez of Monahans, Texas, Celia Vasquez of Grandfalls, Texas, 20 grandchildren, 53 great grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren, and numerous nieces, and nephews.
