Paula Mary Tucker, 81, passed away on November 24, 2020 in Monahans, Texas after a long courageous battle with Parkinson's Disease. Paula was born in Canton, Ohio to Paul and Virginia Foster on November 9, 1939.
Paula graduated from Canandaigua, New York High School. She was a wonderful homemaker. Paula was a member of the Monahans Jaycees. She also worked at Furr’s Grocery Store and was a manager at Town & Country convenience store. Paula operated a daycare out of her home for many years. Paula was a kitchen manager at the Monahans Presbyterian Church daycare. She was an extremely talented artist, and enjoyed spending her time wood burning, inking on glass, sewing, and embroidering. Paula also dispatched for Monahans Nipple Up. She enjoyed her time being a teacher's aide at the Monahans High School for special needs students. She loved being outdoors, fishing, and playing bingo. Paula’s grandchildren were her life and could always spot her in the stands being their number one fan. She absolutely loved spending time with her friends and family sharing smiles and laughter.
Paula is preceded in death by her parents; Paul and Virgina Foster, infant son; Phipps, sister; Izetta Jeffers, brother; Charles Foster, and grandson; Christopher Allen.
She is survived by her loving husband; Rodney Tucker of Monahans, Texas, daughter; Tearsa Jeter and husband Eddie Wilkins of Carlsbad, New Mexico, son; Boyd Phipps and wife Sara of Thornton, Colorado, daughter; Rhonda Warden and husband Jess of Monahans, Texas, nine grandchildren; Christi Allen of Carlsbad, New Mexico, Cyle Allen and wife Sharleena of Stephenville, Texas, Kira Villa and husband Rigo of Carlsbad, New Mexico, Kendall Jeter and wife Anna of Odessa, Texas, Hailey Phipps of Thornton, Colorado, Kylee Phipps of Thornton, Colorado, Faith Phipps of Thornton, Colorado, Kalep Warden and wife Gladys of Monahans, Texas, Karlie Dooley and husband Ty of Virginia Beach, Virginia, and 19 great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Cyle Allen, Kendall Jeter, Jayden Jeter, Kalep Warden, Levi Brown, Kirk Brown, Allen Mosig, and Aubrey Tucker.
Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., Monday, November 30, 2020 at Harkey Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, November 30, 2020 at Cornerstone Church, burial will follow at Monahans Memorial Cemetery with Pastor Stan Huffty officiating.
