Petra Heredia, 90, passed away on December 9, 2020 in Andrews, Texas. She was born in El Mulato, Mexico to parents Concepcion Roman and Eustaha Anaya on September 17, 1930.
Petra was strongly independent! Up into her late eighties she would use the push mower to mow her own yard. She had a love for plants as well as the outdoors. Petra loved to clean anything and everything, some would say she was a cleaning fanatic. Petra never knew a stranger. She would hug everyone and told them she loved them. Petra especially loved her church fellowship. Until her battle with heart failure slowed her down, she enjoyed being active along with living life to the fullest.
Petra was extremely fond of her grandson’s wife Cassandra Heredia. She would always introduce her as her own granddaughter to all her friends and family. Petra carried a special place in her heart for Cassandra as we all do. Cassandra became Petra’s real-life superhero.
She is proceeded in death by her parents; Concepcion Roman and Eustaha Anaya, older brother Ezekiel Roman along with, granddaughter Stacy Louise Heredia Green.
