Raul Diaz Sandoval, 84, of Monahans, Texas passed away on November 9, 2024, in Monahans Texas.
Raul was born in El Porvenir, Chihuahua Mexico to Eusebio and Luisa Sandoval on July 1, 1940.
Raul Married the love of his life Maria Guadalupe on February 26, 1967. Together they had six children. Raul enjoyed spending time outside tending to his yard. His yard brought him immense joy, it is where he would go to relax. He loved his Texas Rangers and Houston Astros. Who he loved more depended on who was performing better. He loved checking the weather daily and he would always ask everyone “Do you think it will rain today?” He was the hardest worker you would ever find as proven by hearing stories from his coworkers. It did not matter how old his children or grandchildren were, he had to know that everyone was home safe. His greatest joy was his family. He loved everyone and always let them know that they were loved. He never shied away from a good nap. If you were to go to his house at two p.m. there was a good chance you would find him in the patio relaxing slumber. Raul’s greatest accomplishment was his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. He taught his family how to work hard, how to be kind, to never complain, and to be the best person they could be. There was never a day that went by that you did not know that you were loved.
Raul, who was a heavy equipment operator, worked for Lindsay Brothers Earth Movers for 36 years until he retired in 2016. Previously he worked as a rancher in the panhandle from 1967 to 1977.
Raul is preceded in death by daughter, Sonia; father, Eusebio; mother, Luisa; brother, Ruben; sisters, Sofia Sandoval; and Delia Sandoval.
