Ricky Nunez

Ricky Gomez Nunez, 48, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, June 24, 2020. He was born November 5, 1971 in Monahans, Texas to parents Juan and Angie Nunez.

Ricky enjoyed being in the presence of family and friends. He loved to cook and loved the Dallas Cowboys. He also liked to golf and coach kids’ sports teams.

He is preceded in death by his mother Angie Nunez, grandparents Angel and Delfina Gonzales and Florencio and Esilia Gomez Nunez.

Ricky is survived by his father Juan Nunez, stepmother Isabel Nunez, two brothers Bobby Nunez and Juan Nunez Jr, three sisters Elsie Nunez, Jennifer Terronez and spouse Santiago Bryan, and Stephanie Hamilton and spouse Justin Hamilton, 15 nieces and nephews, 4 godchildren and numerous loving aunts, uncles and cousins.

Visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., Friday, June 26, 2020 at Harkey Funeral Home Chapel. Rosary will be held at 3:00 p.m., Friday, June 26, 2020 at Harkey Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, June 27, 2020 at St. John Evangelist Catholic Church in Monahans, Texas with Father Allan Oluoch officiating.
